What happens when we do not hold your brand
We tell you. Then we quote the equivalent alongside the original, with the standard and the rating against each, so the decision to substitute stays with the engineer who signed the drawing.
What we will not do is ship an unnamed equivalent against a branded line and let it be discovered at installation. On a fire system or a certified pressure line that is not a commercial shortcut, it is a safety problem.
