Stainless steel threaded fittings supplied from stock in the UAE

We hold forged stainless fittings in ASTM A182 F304, F304L, F316 and F316L to ASME B16.11, threaded and socket weld, from 1/8” through 4” in Class 3000 and 6000.

Small-bore stainless is where corrosion does its quiet damage — instrument tappings, drain points, sample lines and gauge connections that nobody inspects until they weep. Holding these separately from our MS forged fittings means the grade on the label is the grade in your hand.

Grades

F304 for general service, F316 wherever chlorides are present — which along this coast is most places. The L variants matter specifically for socket weld: low carbon prevents chromium carbide forming in the heat-affected zone, which is the first place a welded stainless joint corrodes.

Threaded, socket weld and thread forms

Threaded fittings are cut NPT to ASME B1.20.1 as standard, with BSP parallel and taper available on request. Getting the thread form right is not a detail — an NPT male into a BSP female will appear to tighten and will then leak under pressure, usually after the line is buried.

Socket weld fittings are held in the same grades and classes for permanent, vibration-resistant joints.

Patterns we hold

90° and 45° elbows, equal and reducing tees, full and half couplings, unions, caps, hex plugs, hex bushings and swage nipples to MSS SP-95 in concentric and eccentric form.

Who buys stainless threaded fittings from us

Instrumentation and control contractors. Water treatment and desalination teams. Food, beverage and pharmaceutical maintenance. Offshore and marine crews replacing corroded small-bore.

Why buy from Fakhri Tools

Genuine 316 rather than 304 sold as 316, with certification confirmed before you order. Matching instrument valves and gauges on the same counter so an impulse line is quoted end to end.

What to specify when requesting a quote

Nominal size, class, pattern, thread form — NPT or BSP — and the exact grade. For reducing fittings and swage nipples, give both sizes and the end configuration.

Common Questions

Stainless Steel Threaded Fittings — frequently asked

Do you stock stainless fittings in BSP as well as NPT?
NPT to ASME B1.20.1 is our standard stock thread form. BSP parallel and taper are available in the common sizes on request. Tell us what the existing pipework uses — mixing NPT and BSP produces a joint that appears to tighten and then leaks under pressure.
What is the difference between F316 and F316L in a threaded fitting?
For a purely threaded joint the difference is minor, since there is no weld to sensitise the material. For socket weld fittings the L grade matters considerably, because low carbon prevents carbide precipitation in the heat-affected zone.
Do you supply stainless unions with a PTFE seat?
Standard stainless unions are metal-to-metal seated. PTFE and conical-seat variants are available for applications where a positive seal is needed on frequent dismantling. Tell us the medium and the service temperature and we will confirm the right seat.
Are swage nipples held in stainless?
Yes, in F316 and F316L to MSS SP-95, in both concentric and eccentric form, plain both ends, threaded both ends or plain one end and threaded the other. Give us both sizes and the end configuration.
Can you supply instrument tube fittings to match?
Compression tube fittings, needle valves and manifolds in 316 are held in our instrumentation range, so an impulse line can be quoted complete from the process tapping through to the gauge.
